Bacterial Detection

BCR Corporation uses a custom benchtop system from Engineering Arts to manipulate picoliter volumes of fluids containing microbial spores to develop a novel biosensing platform. The microbial spores generate fluorescence in response to specific bacterial products in the surroundings. BCR Corporation's collaboration with Engineering Arts allowed them to cost effectively optimize and miniaturize their unique biotechnology and extend detection limits.
