ResearchTumor Micro-environmentsA custom benchtop system from Engineering Arts is used to print rows of custom designed self-assembling peptides (sa-peptides) to create distinct tumor microenvironments with precise spatial resolution and specific chemical compositions that recreate key tumor cell-wound extra-cellular-matrix (ECM) signaling interactions. SiHa cells patterned on alternating rows, spaced 500 µm apart, of inkjet printed saPeptide ECMs imaged after 48 hours.
